Julie Furigay is an induction coach with the University of Chicago Urban Teacher Education Program. Furigay coaches and provides ongoing professional development to UChicago UTEP alumni who are in their first 3 years of teaching in Chicago Public Schools.
Prior to joining UEI, Furigay served as a teacher for 10 years. Furigay holds a BA in psychology from Spelman College and an MA in education from National Louis University.
