Jasmin is a Research Analyst at the Consortium on School Research. Her research interests include the integration of social-emotional learning into academic instruction, as well as the role teacher-student relationships plays in the educational experience. Before joining the UChicago Consortium, Jasmin worked as a Data Assistant at Youth Guidance, an organization providing social supports to students in Chicago Public Schools. In this role, she analyzed and  reported the year end data from the Becoming a Man (BAM) and Working on Womanhood (WOW) programs. Jasmin believes that schools play a large and important role in children's development, which is why she hopes to be able to contribute to creating practices helping schools better support their students and adults. In her spare time, Jasmin likes to read, knit, and rewatch The Office.
