W. David Stevens is associate director of qualitative research and training at the University of Chicago Consortium on Chicago School Research. His research focuses on high school reform and instructional development. Currently he is studying the implementation and impact of the Chicago High School Redesign Initiative, a reform effort to create several small high schools in Chicago.
Stevens received his Ph.D. in sociology from Northwestern University.
