In the role of Endpoint Support Engineer, David Suycott provides leadership and support for end user computing activities at the Urban Education Institute, including guiding users through troubleshooting procedures; developing troubleshooting scripts to automate repetitive tasks; providing technical leadership in setup, installation, and configuration of desktop hardware and software; remotely managing computers using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager for Windows PCs and Jamf for Macintosh PCs; maintaining compliance with University and UEI standards for computer security; performing upgrades to hardware and software; and supporting printing and other peripheral computing devices for both Windows and Macintosh systems.

David has extensive experience with technology support. He most recently worked at UChicago Urban Labs where he provided end user and executive support. In addition, David coauthored the Urban Labs’ HIPAA Compliant Policies and Procedures, Cyber Security and Privacy Policies and Procedures and their ITIL Framework.
